Chapter 10 - The Rebirth (Conclusion)

Two years later.
The sun was setting over the Pacific Ocean, casting a golden glow across the expansive wooden deck of the cliffside home in Malibu. The air smelled of salt and jasmine.
Julian stood at the railing, wearing casual linen pants, watching the waves crash against the rocks below. The dark circles under his eyes were gone. The heavy burden of grief had been entirely washed away.

Clara looked up at Julian, her eyes reflecting the ocean. "We survived, Julian."
"We didn't just survive," Julian corrected her softly, pulling her closer as the last rays of the sun dipped below the horizon. "We won."
