Julian tried to fight.
He really did.
He claimed I had hidden my identity. He tried to say the marriage was based on fraud.
Eleanor’s lawyers destroyed him in court.
They proved he had hidden assets. They proved he had emotionally abused me during the pregnancy. They proved he had tried to leave his own child with nothing.
By the time it was over, Julian had nothing left.
No company.
No money.
No reputation.
No access to his daughter.
The same man who had smugly told me I would have nothing was now the one with nothing.
